| How would you rate your experience with this person? | 5-excellent |
| Comments regarding your experience with this person (not required) | I have known Jodi for over 2 years and have worked with her professionally and spent time with her personally as friends. She was always on time to work, had a wide set of skills, such as project management, customer service, science communication, grant writing, and outdoor recreation planner and participant. I have gone on outdoor trips with her for hiking, science collection, and skiing, and I'm happy to say she is in excellent physical condition and patient with those in our group who need more time to navigate a trail or course. Jodi is wonderful at communication and very compassionate; she listens with an open mind and finds solutions to problems easily. I am lucky to have made her acquaintance as a colleague and recommend her highly for any position she would like to take on. Her initiative, motivation, and enthusiasm (always in a positive mood!) is a great asset to have for any organization's team. |
| Please rate this person's ability to handle conflict with others? | 5-excellent |
| Comments regarding handling conflict (not required) | I have witnessed Jodi confronting conflict with others only minimally, as she usually is able to deflect any negative interactions before they become a problem. But in the few instances where she was confronted with conflict, it was usually to address public concerns or staff problems. She handled all of them with grace, patience, and thoughtfulness in her replies or explanations. |
| Please rate this person's dedication or engagement to their work or studies | 5-excellent |
| Comments about dedication or engagement (not required) | Jodi has a wide range of interests and skills to match. She can engage easily with a varied set of participants and learn from each situation how to improve herself and the circumstance. She engages well with diverse members of the public and follows through on a problem until it is fixed. |
| Please rate this person's willingness or desire to improve their performance | 4-very good |
| Comments regarding willingness or desire to improve performance (not required) | Jodi does not need to improve on much for performance. She was extremely well liked in our agency and within different staff teams. She was promoted to program manager for recreation quickly and switched her job duties and teams efficiently. She is always willing to learn more to improve her work performance, is humble in her knowledge and experiences, and puts to good use any new skills she has learned on the job. |
| What would you consider this person’s strengths and/or weaknesses? | Jodi's strengths are her compassion, her strong dedication to finish jobs and tasks, her willingness to help others, her leadership skills, and her enthusiasm for outdoor recreation, conservation work, and civil rights and liberties for others. There are not many weaknesses I can think of for Jodi, though she does have a hard time saying no to tasks. She's always willing to take on more to help others finish the job, and this can be hard on her when she has too many tasks to finish. |
| Is there anything else you feel would be important for us to know, and if so, please describe? | I think Jodi is a slam-dunk decision in hiring her for your company. You won't regret it. |
