I've had the pleasure of knowing Olivia Nelson since she was 8 years old. Watching her grow up into the beautiful, independent and responsible young woman that she is has been such an incredible experience. She was always so good to my daughters who were much younger than her. She'd play games with them, pick flowers, skip rocks and had lots of patience with them too. She was and still is a great role model for them. She not only got along great with the younger kiddos she also could hold her own with the adults. A bright, funny and good natured human being. I love and respect her so much.

Olivia is very level headed. She is a take action type of person instead of reactionary. She's also empathetic which in this day and time is a very important trait to have.

Olivia has always shown dedication to her craft. Whether it was in school and her endless books that she would read (even one time in rough seas while we were sailing, she was reading a 1,000 page book). She's dedicated to her family and friends. Dedicated to her work life. And dedicated and open to learning new things and new life experiences.

I've witnessed Olivia learning new things like surfing, fishing, roller skating, snowboarding and the list goes...she has not only learned but honed her skills through her willingness and desire to improve her performance.

Olivia has lots of strengths like being a quick learner, a great conversationalist and is very creative. One specific strength she has is her natural ability to make people feel calmer and happier when they are around her.

I have always respected Olivia's love of people, animals and nature. She has always loved being outdoors. I've also always respected her desire to continue to learn new things along with sharing that knowledge with others. She is the total package!
