| Is there anything else you feel would be important for us to know, and if so, please describe? | For his 6th grade school project, Malcolm built a pair of skis for himself at Santiam Snolab at Hoodoo. Along with this he wrote a paper on the physics of skiing. His mentor for the ski build noted his attitude and abilities far exceeded expectations. Additionally, writing the paper gave him insight on the physics of the sport and how this applied to his own ski technique. He has experience mentoring a first grade student at his school through a “buddy” program. |
