| Comments regarding your experience working with this person (not required) | Alex is a great instructor he shows up for work professional and in uniform. He takes coaching well and makes an effort to improve himself. When he’s not instructing he is a great help with logistics and is good at interacting with parents and kids. Alex is a very capable snowboard and can coach higher level students, or beginners. Alex had a couple issues with timely communication. He took coaching well and had shown improvement by the end of the season. He’s a great person to have on your line-up. |
| Please rate this person's ability to handle conflict with employees and/or customers? | 4-very good |
| Comments regarding handling conflict (not required) | Alex doesn’t really get in “conflict”. He’s a solid interpersonal communicator and compromise. The angriest I’ve seen him was at a situation, (not a person) he walked away and came back when he was calm and ready to talk. |
| Please rate this person's dedication or engagement to their work | 4-very good |
| Comments about dedication or engagement to work (not required) | When dealing with instructors there are those that are there to work and those that are there to ride. Alex consistently showed up ready to teach and would often volunteer to teach. Behind teaching his second priority was training and improving himself as an instructor. |
| Please rate this person's willingness or desire to improve their performance at work | 4-very good |
| Comments regarding willingness or desire to improve performance (not required) | Alex is the type of dude who will seek feedback. As a supervisor some people you have to wait at the locker room door to have coaching conversations. Alex is not one of them he’ll walk right up to you after a lesson and generally already knows what he did wrong and wants advice on how to fix it. |
| What would you consider this person’s strengths and/or weaknesses? | Alex is really good at teaching people, he’s very personable and can connect well with his students. Weakness is timely communication he can be a little time blind. |
| Is there anything else you feel would be important for us to know, and if so, please describe? | Alex is a really good instructor and team player, he works great with instructors and is definitely an asset rather than a liability. |
