On the mountain, he slows down, explains clearly, and stays genuinely patient with skiers of every level. I have watched him work with beginners and struggling racers without a hint of frustration, and people come away more confident than when they started. I’ve also worked with Matt at Intel. He shows up prepared, follows through on commitments, and handles pressure with a maturity that people notice right away. That reliability carries over to everything he does. Matt has strong character and sound values: honest, respectful, and consistently looking out for the people around him. | Is there anything else you feel would be important for us to know, and if so, please describe? | I served as president for a local high school, Ski Team and vice president for Metro Ski League for the last several years. That was a parent, whose son was one of our racers. Ski racing relies on dozens of dedicated volunteers and I could always count on Matt to help no matter what was required of him. |
