Ty is a very motivated, open-minded and good-humored individual, who has exciting goals for continuing his studies and work in an international context, which I believe he will navigate well. He was able to work independently on his coursework and extension of his study abroad, which speaks to his self-organization, considering that Germany's academic system and bureaucracy can be quite challenging. He is also eager to help, and even volunteered to support a new incoming exchange student cohort in the fall. I am not able to speak much to weaknesses.

Ty seems to fit the classic definition of a people-person, so I would hope that he would be able to interact with with people frequently for this role. I can imagine him being comfortable working with groups of folks, and also a patient person when interacting with individuals as an instructor.
